Amidst growing concerns of the environment, supplies of natural logs are quickly becoming limited in Malaysia. This results in plywood production costs being driven up by demand being the most common wood panel, it is quickly becoming non viable due to increasing cost and decreasing sustainability.
Investing over USD65 million on technology from Germany, the semi-automated production system is capable of manufacturing up to 30000 cubic meters with the eventual aim of replacing plywood applications with lower priced and environmentally friendly OSB panels.
